Application Process
LKG is the main entry point for admission. Students who enroll at IMI are in agreement with the school vision and mission, and are capable of benefitting from the types of programs offered.
Students may be considered for enrollment at the Iqbal Memorial Institute only after their application is complete. The following procedures are used to process the applications of prospective students:
Step One: Application
Collect an application form with deposition of an application form fee. Submit an application and along with the supporting documents. One application must be submitted for each applicant. To facilitate the application process and ensure that all necessary forms and documents are received by IMI in a timely manner, we generated the Application Checklist for your convenience.
Please note that all requested information and application documents must be submitted before the admissions process can begin. Once the application is complete and all materials are received, the Admissions Office will review the application. Receipt of the application and application fee does not guarantee admission. It only prepares it for ‘Step two’ of the application process, which is the review of the application.
Step Two: Review of the Application
Review of the applications takes time. It may take up to two weeks or more for the Admissions office to process a completed application. The IMI academic year starts in November and ends in October of the following calendar year. Applicants for admission to IMI are strongly encouraged to apply as early as possible. There are no firm application “deadlines”, but as certain grade levels tend to fill up rather quickly, it is recommended to apply rather sooner than later. The application is reviewed in light of: supporting documents & prior academic achievement. If any of these factors pose evident concern, the student will be offered a spot in the wait pool or denied admission. If the Admissions Office has additional questions or concerns about a student, the family will be contacted to provide additional information. In all other cases, the application moves to step three.
Step Three: Admissions decision
a). Admission to LKG
For admission to LKG oral/viva test to suit desired age group of 3-4 year is conducted by expert committee which will be the qualifying test for admission in LKG. This is followed by a medical test.
